Description
Beneath the towering acropolis of Lindos, the main beach curves around a sheltered bay, its soft golden sand and moderate waves drawing families and day-trippers. The seabed shelves gently, making it safe for children. Sunbeds and umbrellas line the shore for hire, and a full suite of amenities awaits: showers, toilets, a lifeguard station, a beach bar, and tavernas serving Greek dishes. Water sports—including pedalos and jet skis—are available from a dedicated area. Reached on foot from the village centre or by car via a narrow lane, parking is limited to a small lot near the church, so arrive early in summer. Despite the crowds in high season, the scene remains enjoyable thanks to the organised services and the view of the acropolis above. It is a fully organised, family-friendly beach, though it does not currently hold Blue Flag status.
