Description
Kardamis Beach lies on the east coast of Rhodes, south of Lindos, in a stretch of coastline characterised by low rocky hills and sparse scrub. The beach itself is a mix of coarse sand and pebbles, with the shoreline curving gently. The water is clear and refreshing, with moderate wave action that makes it pleasant for swimming but not ideal for small children. Access is via the coastal road, with parking limited to the roadside verge. There are no organised facilities — no sunbeds, tavernas, or water sports — so you need to bring everything with you, including shade and supplies. This quiet spot is best for a secluded escape, especially outside peak season when you might have it largely to yourself. Snorkelling along the rocky edges is rewarding, and the afternoon light on the nearby cliffs makes for a peaceful end to a beach day.
