    Description

Charaki Beach stretches along the east coast of Rhodes, a few kilometres south of the busy Faliraki resort. The shoreline is composed of smooth pebbles and shingle, with the occasional sandy patch, and the water is clear with a moderate swell that makes it pleasant for swimming. The beach is backed by low-rise accommodation and a handful of tavernas and bars right on the sand, many offering sunbeds and umbrellas for hire. It is well organised during the summer months, with a parking area along the roadside and easy access from the main coastal road. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, attracting a mix of couples and families who prefer a quieter spot than the larger resorts. There are no lifeguards or official Blue Flag status, but basic facilities include a beach bar and taverna serving food and drinks.
