Description
On the east coast of Rhodes, just south of Faliraki's main strip, a small cove sits beneath low, scrub-covered cliffs. This is the island's unofficial nudist beach, a mix of shingle and sand with water that is clear and usually stirred by a moderate swell. Access is via a short, unpaved path from the coastal road, where roadside parking is the only option; you will need to carry your own shade, food and water. The beach stays relatively quiet compared to the organised resorts nearby, attracting a relaxed naturist crowd. Weekday mornings are the most peaceful, while afternoons can see a handful more visitors. There are no facilities, umbrellas or sunbeds – this is a wild, undeveloped spot for those who prefer to strip off and swim without the trappings of a beach bar. The rocky edges offer some snorkelling interest, and the sunset views over the inland hills are a bonus.
