Description
On the east coast of Rhodes, just south of Faliraki, this pebbly stretch is exposed to a steady breeze that gives it its name. The shore is a mix of smooth pebbles and some sand, sloping gently into water that can be choppy when the wind picks up. There are no facilities or sunbeds, so you'll need to bring your own umbrella and supplies. Parking is limited to the roadside along the coastal road, which can fill up quickly in peak season. The lack of development means it stays quieter than the main Faliraki beaches, appealing to those who prefer a more natural setting. Windsurfers and kitesurfers often take advantage of the conditions, but swimmers should be cautious of the moderate waves. There's no shade except what you bring, and the sun here is strong. A low-key spot for a picnic and a swim away from the crowds.
