Mantomata Beach sits on the east coast of Rhodes, roughly midway between the resorts of Kolymbia and Afandou. The shore here is a gently shelving pebbly cove, protected by low rocky headlands. The water is clear and inviting, with moderate wave action that makes it pleasant for swimming. The beach is not organised, so there are no sunbeds, umbrellas, or tavernas—just a strip of natural coastline backed by low scrub and a few tamarisk trees. Access is via a dirt track off the main coastal road; parking is roadside and very limited. This is a quiet spot, popular with locals and those seeking a break from the busier tourist beaches.
