Description
Kolymbia Beach stretches along the east coast of Rhodes, just south of the resort of Kolymbia. It's a wide, sandy beach with gentle, moderate waves, backed by low-rise hotels and a pine-covered hill. The sea slopes gradually, making it particularly suitable for families with children. Well-organised, the beach offers rows of sunbeds and umbrellas, along with several beach bars and tavernas serving food and drinks. Showers and toilets are available. Parking is mostly roadside, though small lots exist nearby. In summer it can be busy, but there's usually room to settle. Snorkelling is pleasant around the rocky points at the ends of the bay. Overall, Kolymbia provides a comfortable, amenity-rich day out with easy access and reliable facilities.
