Greek Beaches in Rhodes Where Parking Is Easier

Parking: Parking is easy in the large lot at the northern end, though the beach can get very crowded in July and August.

Faliraki Beach runs for nearly a kilometre along the east coast of Rhodes, just south of the resort town that shares its name. The beach is broad and sandy, with shallow, gentle water that shelves slowly — good for families with children. Waves are generally moderate, enough for a pleasant swim or some bodyboarding.

Parking: Reached on foot from the village centre or by car via a narrow lane, parking is limited to a small lot near the church, so arrive early in summer.

Beneath the towering acropolis of Lindos, the main beach curves around a sheltered bay, its soft golden sand and moderate waves drawing families and day-trippers. The seabed shelves gently, making it safe for children.

Parking: A well-tarmacked road leads from the main coastal highway to a large, free parking area, and the beach itself is fully organised with rows of sunbeds and umbrellas, showers, toilets, and lifeguard cover through the summer.

On the east coast of Rhodes, a few kilometres south of Archangelos, Tsampika spreads out as a broad arc of fine golden sand beneath the hill topped by the Tsambika Monastery. The water shelves gently, with moderate wave action that keeps it lively but safe for children.
