Description
Myrtiotissa (Mirtiotissa) is a hidden, secluded west-coast cove framed by steep cliffs and lush vegetation. The sand is fine and golden, though large rocks are embedded within the seabed, especially toward the edges. Water is exceptionally clear, ideal for snorkeling, and mostly calm, though wind exposure can stir mild chop. The access road is narrow and steep; visitors usually park above and descend a rugged path, or arrive by sea. The stretch is lightly organized: a few umbrellas and loungers are available, and a small kiosk offers drinks and snacks. The beach is known to host nudist culture (officially tolerated) in parts. Caution is advised: there is no formal lifeguard service, paths down are steep, and rock hazards lie near shallower margins.
