Description
Also known as “Sunset Beach”, Loggas sits beneath sheer clay/limestone cliffs at the village of Peroulades. The shore is a very narrow strip, mainly fine sand with some rocky/pebbly patches; in swell or at high tide parts can vanish. Water is typically clear but may turn cloudy when waves stir clay from the cliffs. Exposed to westerly/northwesterly winds, it tends to be wavy rather than calm. Access is via a steep path and stairs from the clifftop; sections can be slippery or intermittently damaged by erosion. Facilities are on the rim above (tavernas/cafés); the beach itself is unorganized and has no lifeguard. A dedicated car park sits on the clifftop by the access. Notable cautions: falling rocks under the cliff face, limited space, shorebreak in windy conditions, and steps unsuitable for those with mobility issues.
