Description
Tiny urban bathing spot beneath the Old Fortress (by the Palace of St. Michael & St. George). Entry is mainly from stone/concrete platforms with ladders/steps; there’s a very small sandy strip in places. Water is typically very clear and generally calm due to the sheltered east-coast location, though occasional chop/wakes from passing boats can occur. Access is on foot from Corfu Old Town; cafés/bars operate directly on the waterfront with managed sunbed areas. Not a typical wide sandy shore; space is limited. Cautions: slippery rocks/platform edges, sudden depth by the ladders, minimal natural shade, and no formal lifeguard coverage observed
