Description
Narrow cove on Corfu’s west coast backed by steep, green cliffs. Shore and seabed are mixed sand and pebbles with scattered rocks; water is generally clear but can accumulate seagrass. The bay faces the open Ionian and is more exposed than east-coast beaches, so conditions are often calm in the morning but can turn moderate with wind/swell later. Access by road and the Green Bus; short walk from roadside parking along the seafront. The beach is partly organized with sunbeds/umbrellas run by on-site businesses and tavernas; basic facilities (toilets/showers) are available via the beachfront venues. Boat/jet-ski rentals and small boat trips run from the beach to nearby coves. Notable cautions: pebbly sections and underwater rocks (water shoes recommended); limited free space at peak times due to organized zones; surf can build with westerly winds.
