Description
Long resort beach on Corfu’s east coast, fronting the village of Moraitika. Shoreline is mostly sand with shingle/pebble patches; the seabed is sandy and shelves gently. Water is typically clear and shallow with generally calm conditions due to the sheltered east-facing aspect. Access is easy on foot from the resort streets; buses stop on the main road and lanes lead to multiple beach entrances. The beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, and there are numerous beachfront tavernas, bars and cafés. Public toilets and showers are reported near organized sections. Water sports (e.g., pedalos, SUP/jet-ski/banana rides) operate in season. Typical cautions: busy and densely set sunbed rows in high season; watch for boat and water-sports traffic near marked lanes; some pebbly/stoney patches at the entry—water shoes may help.
