Description
Long, narrow beach lining the east-coast resort of Ipsos. Shore is mainly pebbles/shingle with some sandy patches; seabed becomes sandier a few meters in. Water is typically very clear and generally calm due to the sheltered bay. The beachfront runs directly along a busy coastal road; access is easy by car or Corfu city bus No. 7. Most sections are organized with sunbed/umbrella rentals run by cafés and tavernas across the road; there are established water-sports operators and small-boat rentals from the south-end harbor. Facilities in season include showers, with abundant food and drink options nearby. Typical cautions: pebbly entry (water shoes helpful), frequent watercraft activity in marked zones, and traffic when crossing the road between beach and venues. Parking is mostly along the roadside; spaces can fill at peak times.
