Description
Long, west-facing bay below Pelekas with predominantly fine sand and clear water. The seabed slopes gently, making entry easy, but the beach is exposed to westerly winds and can see moderate waves and shore-break on windy days. Access is via a steep, narrow road; on arrival there are organized zones with sunbeds/umbrellas, several beachfront tavernas/bars, seasonal water-sports and basic facilities (showers/toilets). Parking is mostly paid in small lots close to the sand, with limited roadside spots in peak months. The northern end is more developed; the southern end is quieter with rocky edges. Cautions: occasional stronger swell and currents during onshore winds; tight, busy access road; limited free parking at peak times.
