Description
Small cove on Corfu’s west coast, about 1 km from Liapades village. The shore is mainly pebbles with some coarse sand, and the seabed deepens quickly. Water is typically very clear, with good visibility for snorkeling along the rocky sides. The bay is somewhat sheltered but faces the west/northwest, so it can see moderate swell and chop with prevailing winds. Access is via a steep road through the village; space near the beach is limited and mainly roadside. The beach is organized with seasonal sunbeds/umbrellas and a couple of eateries, plus small-scale rentals (pedalos/kayaks/boats) and boat trips to nearby coves like Rovinia and Chomi. Notable cautions: limited parking, slippery rounded pebbles underfoot, and frequent small-boat traffic close to swimmers.
