Description
West-facing beach on Corfu’s southwest coast near the village of Paramonas. Shoreline is mostly sand with some pebbly sections; seabed is sandy with occasional stones. Water is typically clear and shallow for a short distance, then gradually deepens. Exposure to the open Ionian means conditions are generally calm to moderate, with a tendency for wind and chop in the afternoons. Access is by road; there is no dedicated lot—most visitors use roadside spaces near the beach. The southern part is lightly organized with seasonal sunbeds/umbrellas and a couple of seafront tavernas; public showers and basic changing facilities are reported. No current Blue Flag listing and no reliable indication of a lifeguard. Limited natural shade; expect some pebbles at the ends and occasional boat activity offshore. Best suited for a relaxed swim and low-key snorkeling when seas are settled.
