Description
Long north-facing resort beach fronting the village of Roda. Shore is mostly sand with sections of fine shingle; water is typically clear and very shallow for a long distance, making it popular with families. The beach is organized in places with rental sunbeds and umbrellas and a watersports center; tavernas and beach bars line the promenade. Access is easy on foot from the village and by bus/car; parking is mainly along local streets. There is seasonal accessibility infrastructure (SEATRAC) with beach track, WC, changing room and shower. Exposure to northerly winds can bring chop, but most days conditions are calm. Be mindful of designated watersports lanes and small-boat traffic just offshore.
