    Description

Small, low-key beach along the coastal road between Messonghi and Petriti. Shoreline is mostly pebbles/shingle with some coarse patches; the seabed is shallow and very clear. East-southeast exposure keeps the water generally calm and protected from prevailing north-westerlies; waves are usually minimal, with only light chop in onshore winds. Access is easy from the seafront road, with short footpaths between tavernas and pocket coves. Limited beach width and pebble/rock underfoot—water shoes help. Boat moorings and small jetties from the fishing harbour/tavernas sit close to swimmers, so keep to designated swim areas and watch for traffic. Facilities are mainly in the adjacent fish tavernas; the beach itself is largely non-organized.
