A good Greek beach day can fall apart before you even reach the water: a narrow access road, no legal shoulder, a rental car circling in the heat, and everyone in the car already sandy somehow. This guide keeps the promise deliberately practical. Every beach below has a dedicated small or large parking lot recorded in our verified inventory, so it is a stronger bet than beaches marked as roadside-only or no-parking.
This is still Greece in summer, not a guaranteed reserved space. Popular beaches can fill early, paid lots can change by season, and a "small lot" may be tight in August. But if you are planning with children, beach gear, mobility constraints, or a rental car, these are the beaches where parking should be less stressful. On Corfu, this list is intentionally stricter than "there is somewhere to leave the car." We include beaches marked with small or large parking lots, and we exclude roadside-only access because that can mean a few informal pull-offs rather than an easy arrival. If you are visiting in July or August, treat the parking type as a planning advantage, not a guarantee: go earlier for the famous beaches, and use the full Corfu beach list when you want to compare parking with waves, surface type, and amenities.

Parking: Parking is mostly along the road, with a large free area near the marina.
Benitses Beach lines the east-coast road through Benitses village. The shoreline is mixed: a small sandy strip by the marina and longer sections of fine pebbles to the north. Water is typically clear and generally calm on this side of Corfu, with only occasional chop in onshore winds.

Dassia is a popular beach on the east coast of Corfu, located about 10-12 km from Corfu Town. The beach is a mix of sand and fine pebbles, with a gently sloping seabed that gives shallow waters for a good distance — making it pleasant for swimmers, families, and those wanting both comfort and natural scenery.

Glyfada is one of the island’s most popular west-coast beaches, about 15–16 km from Corfu Town. It features wide stretches of golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. The bay is backed by green hills and cliffs, giving scenic sea views and occasional shade from trees or terrain.

Stretching for several kilometers along Corfu’s northern coast, Acharavi Beach borders the lively village of Acharavi.
