Description
Vromolimnos sits on Skiathos' southeastern coast, a short drive from Skiathos town and just past the airport runway. The beach is a broad sweep of soft sand, with gentle shelving and moderate wave action that suits swimmers of all ages. The setting is open, backed by low scrub-covered slopes rather than dense woodland. Access is by paved road, with parking along the roadside above the beach—arrive early in high season to secure a spot. The beach is well organised: rows of sunbeds and umbrellas line the sand, and a pair of beach bars and tavernas serve drinks, snacks, and full meals throughout the day. Water sports operators offer pedalos, jet skis, and paddleboards, making it lively but not frantic. Families with children find the shallow entry reassuring, while the midday sun is strong—bring extra sunscreen. By late afternoon the crowds thin, and the view out over the Aegean is uninterrupted. Despite the convenience and popularity, the water stays clear and clean. No Blue Flag here, but the facilities are reliable for a full day out.
