Description
On the eastern shore of Skopelos, a short drive south of Skopelos Town, Neraki is a modest cove that sees moderate wave action. The beach is flanked by low, scrub-covered hills and offers a mix of sand and pebbles typical of the area. Access is by a paved road that leads to a small roadside parking area. Because it lacks any organised facilities, visitors should bring their own shade, water and snacks. The water is clear but can be a little brisk, and the modest waves make it suitable for a quick dip rather than extended swimming. It tends to be quiet, visited mainly by locals or those passing by. There are no sunbeds, umbrellas, tavernas or other amenities. A simple, unadorned spot for a peaceful break away from the more developed beaches elsewhere on the island.
