Description
Vravrona Beach lies just east of the archaeological site of Brauron in eastern Attica, and feels like a quiet local escape. The sand is coarse to medium with patches of pebbles near the shore, and the seabed includes rocky stretches so swimmers should watch their footing. The water is fairly clear, though not as pristine as more sheltered bays, and under calm weather the surf is mild. Access is via local roads off the coastal route from Markopoulo or Artemida. Parking is informal — roadside or small lots by the beach. Few formal services or organized zones are evident, though some taverna and café options lie nearby. There is little evidence of lifeguards or structured safety services, so swimming should be cautious. Portions of the shoreline nearer to hotel or private areas may be more maintained, but much remains natural and low-key. Be especially cautious if waves or wind pick up, and avoid submerged rocks when entering the water
