Description

Avlaki is a Blue Flag beach about 4 km south of Porto Rafti, easily reached via Attiki Odos. The shore is mainly sandy (some finer, though pockets of pebbles may appear near the edges) and the seabed slopes gently—entry to the water is smooth and comfortable. The water is clear and calm under typical conditions; in strong winds light ripples may form. The beach is organized: visitors can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, there is a restaurant-bar, lifeguards, changing cabins and toilets. Some free (non-organized) stretches exist outside the managed zone. Parking is available nearby. Because parts remain unmanaged, swimmers should stay within marked safe zones and watch for variable seabed at margins.
