Description
Also known as Limni Keriou beach, this is a narrow, village-front shore inside Laganas Bay facing Marathonisi. The shore is mainly pebbly with some sandy patches; the seabed starts stone/pebble and turns sandy after a few meters. Water is typically very clear and, being sheltered within the bay, conditions are usually calm, though chop can increase with onshore winds and boat wake from the nearby small port. Access is easy by road through Limni Keri. There are organized sections with rentable sunbeds and umbrellas, plus seafront tavernas. Large parking areas are available near the harbor end of the beach. Popular activities include boat trips to Marathonisi and the Keri Caves; the rocky edges and clear water suit casual snorkeling. Cautions: mixed/pebble entry (water shoes helpful), active boat traffic from tour and rental boats, and the wider area lies within the National Marine Park (observe local rules and marked zones).
