Description

Large sandy beach on Paros’ NE coast with clear, shallow water and views to Naxos. Mostly fine sand with occasional small pebbles near the backshore. The bay is fairly sheltered but can become choppy under strong Meltemi (N) winds. Highly organized in sections with sunbeds/umbrellas, beach bars, and a water-sports club; quieter free sections exist at the ends. Access by paved road; a free, large dirt parking area sits directly behind the beach. Public showers and toilets are present at organized areas. Reached by car, taxi, or local bus via Naoussa. In peak season it gets crowded and music from beach bars can be loud. Suitable for families in calm conditions; popular for snorkeling near rocky edges and for various water activities.
