Description

Sheltered sandy cove within Paros Park (Agios Ioannis Detis peninsula), facing Naoussa Bay. Fine sand with some rocky edges near the northern side; very clear, shallow water for at least ~100 m. The cove is well protected from the prevailing Meltemi (N winds), so conditions are typically calm with minimal wave action. Access is via an asphalt road with on-site parking, or by seasonal water taxi from Naoussa. The beach is organized with sunbeds/umbrellas and a beach bar/restaurant; a watersports center operates in season. Popular and busy in peak months; music from the organized section and limited natural shade. Caution: rocks near the sides for snorkelers and boat traffic in the bay; arrive early for parking in high season.
