Description
Small village beach inside the fishing harbour of Piso Livadi on Paros’ east coast. Shore is mainly sand with some pebbly patches; seabed is mostly sandy with a gentle, shallow entry and usually clear water. The east side of Paros is exposed to the Meltemi (N–NE summer winds), so conditions range from calm to light chop; the harbour gives partial shelter but short-period waves can occur when winds pick up. Access is easy on foot from the seafront; there is a local bus stop in the village and a small municipal parking area nearby. Tavernas and cafés line the waterfront. Boat excursions to nearby islands depart from the adjacent pier. Notable cautions: proximity to the harbour means boat traffic—stay within the swim area; limited natural shade (some trees) and the beach is small, so it can feel crowded in peak season.
