Description
Small east-coast village beach on Lefkada with a mixed sand-and-pebble shore and very clear, typically calm water. The southeast exposure and shelter of the mainland/channel mean waves are usually minimal except in stronger onshore breezes. Access is easy directly off the coastal road through Nikiana; the beach sits beside the harbor/front with short walks from roadside parking. Parts of the beach are organized seasonally with sunbeds/umbrellas and a simple beach bar/cantina; otherwise it remains low-key. Entry can be pebbly—water shoes help. Depth drops gradually and the water is often used by families; visibility is good for casual snorkeling near rocks. Pedalos/SUPs are sometimes available from local operators. Space is limited, and parking can be tight in peak season. Watch for small-boat traffic near the pier and occasional mooring lines; avoid swimming close to the harbor approach.
