Description
Pebble–sand mix cove on Lefkada’s exposed west coast, named for the large shore and in-water boulders. Substrate ranges from coarse sand to fine pebbles; water is typically very clear. Open to prevailing W–NW winds, so conditions can turn wavy and the seabed deepens quickly. Access is via a narrow, steep asphalt road from Kalamitsi; final approach includes a short footpath. Parking is limited to small paid lots near the end of the road plus some roadside spots. Seasonal rental of a few umbrellas/sunbeds may be present, but there are no permanent facilities on the beach and no lifeguard. Cautions: limited/steep parking access, slippery rocks, sudden depth and strong shore break when swell is up. For food/drinks, options are at nearby Kavalikefta/Avali beaches.
