Description
Lia Beach lies on Mykonos’s southeastern coast, beyond Kalafatis, and offers a more tranquil escape compared to the island’s busy party shores. The beach features soft, golden sand (with some rocky/pebbly patches near edges) and a gently sloping seabed. The water is crystal clear and ideal for snorkeling and diving. The beach is organized in its central sectors, providing sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, toilets, and a beach restaurant/bar. Behind the beach there is a large free parking area. Access is by road; there is no regular public bus service. Windbreaks (bamboo) are installed to provide protection in breezy conditions. Because the beach is in a relatively remote cove, wave activity is normally low; in stronger winds mild ripples may appear. Caution: premium sunbed zones can be expensive, and in side zones the seabed may include rocks—take care entering water away from maintained parts.
