Description
Agios Sostis is a back-to-nature beach on the northern coast of Mykonos, about 7–8 km from Chora. The stretch is sandy (with minor rocky edges) and the water is very clear and inviting for swimming. There are no formal sunbeds or umbrellas provided by the beach itself, giving visitors full freedom to set up their own space. The location is somewhat exposed to northerly winds, so waves or chop can develop under windy conditions. Access is by car or motorbike along the road beyond Panormos, followed by a short walk downhill to the sand. Parking is informal, often along the roadside near the top of the hill. A rustic tavern (Kiki’s) lies just above the beach and serves grilled food (no electronic facilities), but beach infrastructure is otherwise minimal. Because of the lack of lifeguards or safety infrastructure, swimmers should be cautious, especially when winds make the sea restless, and bring their own provisions (water, shade, etc.).
