The filter is strict on purpose. A beach with sunbeds but no toilets does not qualify; a beautiful wild cove does not qualify; a taverna nearby is helpful, but it is not enough by itself. Agios Stefanos is a sandy beach on the northwestern coast of Mykonos, just a few km from Mykonos Town and very close to the new Tourlos-port. Its golden sand shore, combined with shallow, clear waters, makes it particularly appealing for swimmers, couples, and families.

Ftelia Beach lies on the northern coast of Mykonos in the Panormos Bay area, giving it a windswept, bohemian flair. The shoreline is mainly sandy with occasional small pebbles and coarser patches near the edges.

Kalafatis Beach lies on the southeastern coast of Mykonos, offering a mellow retreat away from the island’s busiest shores.
