Description
Pachia Ammos is a broad coastal beach on the north side of the narrowest section of Crete, located about 20 km east of Agios Nikolaos and some 10 km from Ierapetra. It combines stretches of sand and pebbles, with a west section that is more sheltered by a breakwater, making the waters calmer there, while the rest can face winds and waves.
