    Description

Loutro is a small pebble beach in front of the eponymous whitewashed village on the south coast of Crete in Sfakia, accessible only by boat or on foot via the E4 coastal path. The car-free village curves around a sheltered bay with very calm clear water, a handful of tavernas built into the cliffs, and a slower pace than anywhere else on the island.
