    Description

Perched at the foot of the Lissos Gorge and facing the Libyan Sea, Lissos is a secluded, tranquil beach near Sougia in southwestern Crete. It’s reached via a scenic hike from Sougia (≈ 1–1.5 hours along the E4 path) or by boat from the village. The beach is backed by cliffs, ancient ruins (including the Asclepieion and city remains), and dense bushes, giving it a wild, contemplative ambiance.
