    Description

Porto Koufo is a picturesque small fishing village whose namesake beach lies in one of Greece’s deepest natural harbors. The bay is sheltered by rocky hills and cliffs, giving the sea a calm, dramatic look. The beach itself is relatively narrow and sandy, though the water becomes deep not far from the shore. It’s less “resortified” than many other Chalkidiki beaches, which helps retain a more relaxed, local feel. Because of the narrow coastline and deeper water, it is less ideal for very young children or those who prefer wide, shallow beaches.
