    Description

North-facing cove near Plaka with a mixed sand–pebble shore and very clear, typically turquoise water. Semi-sheltered by low cliffs but exposed to northerlies (Meltemi), so it’s usually calm to moderate but can turn wavy when winds pick up. Access is by narrow paved/part-dirt road; there is a small parking area by the beach and additional roadside parking. No scheduled bus service; reach by car, taxi, scooter or on foot from Plaka. Seasonal organization with sunbeds/umbrellas and a beach bar/food kiosk. Shallow entry in parts; good for casual snorkeling along the rocks. Cautions: limited natural shade, facilities operate seasonally, no lifeguard, and conditions deteriorate with strong north winds.
