    Description

Small remote cove below Cape Vani on Milos’ NW coast, adjacent to the historic manganese mine. Shoreline is mostly small pebbles with some coarse grit; seabed similar. Waters are typically very clear but the site is exposed to the Aegean, so with prevailing N–NW Meltemi winds it often has noticeable swell and chop; calmer on light-wind or southerly days. Access is primarily by boat tours that circuit the island; reaching it by land involves rough unpaved 4x4 tracks and a short hike, and many visitors view it from the cape rather than swim. There are no facilities or shade, and the mine ruins/cliffs back the cove. Not ideal for families or long swims; best for scenery and photos.
