A good Greek beach day can fall apart before you even reach the water: a narrow access road, no legal shoulder, a rental car circling in the heat, and everyone in the car already sandy somehow. This guide keeps the promise deliberately practical. Every beach below has a dedicated small or large parking lot recorded in our verified inventory, so it is a stronger bet than beaches marked as roadside-only or no-parking.
This is still Greece in summer, not a guaranteed reserved space. Popular beaches can fill early, paid lots can change by season, and a "small lot" may be tight in August. But if you are planning with children, beach gear, mobility constraints, or a rental car, these are the beaches where parking should be less stressful. On Mykonos, this list is intentionally stricter than "there is somewhere to leave the car." We include beaches marked with small or large parking lots, and we exclude roadside-only access because that can mean a few informal pull-offs rather than an easy arrival. Agia Anna is a beautiful, well-organized beach located in the Kalafatis area of Mykonos. It offers golden sandy shores, crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed yet vibrant beach-club vibe. The setting is scenic with rocky features at the edges, and nearby hills giving views over the Aegean.

Agios Stefanos is a sandy beach on the northwestern coast of Mykonos, just a few km from Mykonos Town and very close to the new Tourlos-port. Its golden sand shore, combined with shallow, clear waters, makes it particularly appealing for swimmers, couples, and families.
Parking: Access is by road (the last stretch is steep or rough), and there is free parking near the beach.
Agrari Beach lies on Mykonos’s southern coast, just east of Elia, and offers a quieter alternative to the island’s party beaches. The shoreline is mainly soft golden sand with occasional small pebbles, and the seabed slopes gently though becomes deeper further out.

Elia is a large, sophisticated sandy beach on the southern coast of Mykonos, about 10 km from Mykonos Town. With long stretches of golden/white sand, clear waters and a spacious shore, Elia offers both luxury and relaxed beach vibes.
Parking: Access is by car or taxi—no public buses run there—and parking is available adjacent to the beach.
Ftelia Beach lies on the northern coast of Mykonos in the Panormos Bay area, giving it a windswept, bohemian flair. The shoreline is mainly sandy with occasional small pebbles and coarser patches near the edges.

Kalafatis Beach lies on the southeastern coast of Mykonos, offering a mellow retreat away from the island’s busiest shores. The sand is predominantly fine and golden, though some areas near the water’s edge include stones or rocky patches. Past the immediate shore the seabed tends to be sandy with better footing.

Kalo Livadi is a long, elegant sandy beach on Mykonos’s southeastern coast, about 9-10 km from Mykonos Town. The shore is mostly white fine sand, surrounded by gently sloping terrain and low hills. The sea starts shallow, with crystal-clear waters ideal for swimming, families, and relaxed days by the sea.

Lia Beach lies on Mykonos’s southeastern coast, beyond Kalafatis, and offers a more tranquil escape compared to the island’s busy party shores. The beach features soft, golden sand (with some rocky/pebbly patches near edges) and a gently sloping seabed. The water is crystal clear and ideal for snorkeling and diving.

The sand is slightly coarse yet comfortable underfoot; near the edges there are occasional rocky bits.
